The Blue Ribbon Commission on America’s Nuclear Future, in association with the Southern States Energy Board will be hosting a public meeting on October 18, 2011 to solicit  comment and reaction to the BRC's draft recommendations for the nation's program for managing its spent nuclear fuel and high-level defense waste.  The draft report is available at http://brc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/brc_draft_report_29jul2011.pdf.

Registration will open at 7:45 am and the meeting will begin at 8:15 am.
